The Extra Paycheck Principle

Get paid weekly or bi-weekly?  If so then take advantage of four "extra" weeks pay per year.

The four "extra" weeks result from budgeting all expenses on a four week month.  By living on four weeks pay per month, you can save four weeks pay per year for vacations, to pay-off debts, etc.

"Budget to live on four weeks pay per month, or 48 weeks pay per year, and you will be able to save one month pay per year" 

If you get paid weekly, then four months per year you will receive five paychecks.  The fifth paycheck is the extra check that may be saved or other wise segregated.  Bi-weekly employees will get three paychecks two months out of the year.
